My name is Olive but my family calls me Liv.
I am a wife of a wonderful husband, a proud mommy of three awesome kids, and second of my parents' five daughters. I am a lover of stories, especially ones told firsthand in the living rooms of ordinary people who have done extraordinary things. I love the little moments in life. As I listen to storytellers, I find that woven among the plain cloth of everyday life are strands of gold, small moments that when looked back upon make us smile, laugh, cry, contemplate, and relish. I believe those stories deserve not only to be told, but written and preserved, for the benefit of the storyteller as well as their loved ones present and to come.
I attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership and a certificate in Gerontology. After graduation my husband and I moved to Phoenix, Arizona and I started working as an activity coordinator at a skilled nursing/memory care facility. We currently live in my hometown of Fruitland, Idaho.
I have been helping people write their life stories since 2014. When my daughter was born in 2016, I quit my day job to be a stay-at-home mom. Since then I have focused on building my life story business and developing my skills as a writer. There is no better work for me. I love what I do and I feel privileged to do it.
I like to write my own stories, too. You can read some of them and get a feel for my writing style here.
Enough about me.
I want to hear YOUR story!
